Louisa County Lions (Mineral, VA) fans were thrilled Tuesday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Western Albemarle Warriors (Crozet, VA), 11-0 in a league challenge.

Next, the Lions confront the Courtland Cougars (Spotsylvania, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, March 24. Louisa County will attempt to better on its 1-1 season record. The Cougars enter the challenge with a 0-2 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Massaponax (Spotsylvania, VA).

The Warriors now have a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Charlottesville for a Jefferson challenge on Thursday, March 31. Western Albemarle will confront a Black Knights team coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Riverbend (Fredericksburg, VA). The Black Knights record now stands at 3-1.
