The crowd at Tuesday's league test between the Newton-Conover Red Devils (Newton, NC) and the visiting West Caldwell Warriors (Lenoir, NC), saw Newton-Conover's soccer squad beat West Caldwell by a count of 4-0.

The Red Devils now hold a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Lincolnton for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A test on Thursday, March 24. Newton-Conover will meet a Wolves squad coming off a 9-0 league win over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 3-4.

With the loss, West Caldwell drops to 0-6 on the season. The Warriors travel to Alexander Central (Taylorsville, NC) to meet the Cougars in a non-league test on Monday, March 28. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-7. Alexander Central lost 5-0 in their recent non-league test against St. Stephens (Hickory, NC)
