Pulaski County Cougars (Dublin, VA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons (Christiansburg, VA), 11-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Floyd County for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25. Pulaski County will battle a Buffaloes squad coming off a 18-2 non-league win over Bassett (Bassett, VA). The Buffaloes record now stands at 1-0.

With the loss, Christiansburg falls to 2-2 on the campaign. The Blue demons host Salem (Salem, VA) to battle the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, March 25. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 0-4. Salem lost 13-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA)
