Archbishop McCarthy Mavericks (Fort Lauderdale, FL) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad top the host St. Brendan Sabres (Miami, FL), 14-1 in a non-league battle.
The Mavericks now have a 5-8 record. They take the field next when they travel to Immokalee for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 26. Archbishop McCarthy will clash with a Indians squad coming off a 14-1 league win over Palmetto Ridge (Naples, FL). The Indians record now stands at 7-4.
In their next game, the Sabres clash with the LaSalle Royal Lions (Miami, FL) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, March 24. St. Brendan will attempt to move on its 3-5 season record.
