In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting Pierce County Bears soccer squad scored a close 3-2 win over the Long County Blue Tide.
The Bears (8-5) will now prepare for their battle against Appling County (Baxley, GA). The Pirates go into the AAA Region 1 battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Appling County was nudged by Long County (Ludowici, GA), 3-0, in a league battle.
The Blue Tide (10-2) will now prepare for their battle against Tattnall County (Reidsville, GA). The Warriors go into the AAA Region 1 battle with a 11-1 record. In their last battle, Tattnall County nipped Brantley County (Nahunta, GA), 10-0, in a league battle.
