A&M Consolidated Tigers (College Station, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Waller Bulldogs (Waller, TX), 4-3 in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Magnolia for a 5A Region III District 19 challenge on Friday, March 25. A&M Consolidated will face a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 league loss to Brenham (Brenham, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-6.
With the loss, Waller falls to 16-8 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Brenham (Brenham, TX) to face the Cubs in a 5A Region III District 19 challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Cubs enter the challenge with a record of 13-6.
