In Tuesday's league contest, the Amarillo Sandies (Amarillo, TX) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Plainview Bulldogs (Plainview, TX), by a margin of 11-0.
With the triumph, Amarillo moves its record to 1-8 on the year. The Sandies host Palo Duro (Amarillo, TX) to play the Dons in a 5A Region I District 3 contest on Friday, April 1. The Dons come into the contest with a record of 1-5.
In their next game, the Bulldogs play the Tascosa Rebels (Amarillo, TX) in a 5A Region I District 3 contest, on Friday, March 25. Plainview will attempt to move on its 6-6 season record. The Rebels come into the contest with a 10-12 record after their 13-2 league loss to Caprock (Amarillo, TX).
