Orange Grove Bulldogs (Orange Grove, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Aransas Pass Panthers (Aransas Pass, TX), 11-7 in a league challenge.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-12 record. They take the field next when they host Mathis for a 3A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, March 25. Orange Grove will face a Pirates squad coming off a 11-0 league win over Skidmore-Tynan (Skidmore, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 19-0.

With the loss, Aransas Pass falls to 10-11 on the campaign. The Panthers host Taft (Taft, TX) to face the Greyhounds in a 3A Region IV District 29 challenge on Friday, March 25. The Greyhounds enter the challenge with a record of 15-6. Taft lost 2-0 in their recent league challenge against Goliad (Goliad, TX)
