The Mustangs now own a 11-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bowie for a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, March 25. Burges will battle a Bears squad coming off a 15-0 league loss to Chapin (El Paso, TX). The Bears record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Austin falls to 0-16 on the campaign. The Panthers host Andress (El Paso, TX) to battle the Eagles in a 5A Region I District 1 challenge on Friday, March 25. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-11. Andress lost 19-6 in their recent league challenge against Jefferson (El Paso, TX)
