Pennsylvania High School Softball - Shaler Area holds off Burrell

Shaler Area Titans (Pittsburgh, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Burrell Bucs (Lower Burrell, PA), 5-3 in a non-league challenge.

The Titans now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Highlands for a non-league challenge on Friday, April 1.

With the loss, Burrell falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Bucs travel to Deer Lakes (Russellton, PA) to face the Lancers in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 31. The Lancers enter the challenge with a record of 0-0.
