The Burton Panthers softball team scored 13 runs and limited the host Iola Bulldogs to 1 in the Panthers league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Burton improves its record to 6-10 on the year. The Panthers host Mumford (Mumford, TX) to clash with the Mustangs in a 2A Region IV District 26 game on Friday, March 25. The Mustangs come into the game with a record of 2-4. Mumford won 11-9 in their recent league game against Snook (Snook, TX)

In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Somerville Yeguas (Somerville, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 26 game, on Friday, April 1. Iola will attempt to improve on its 0-4 season record.
