The Calvert Cavaliers softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Patuxent Panthers to 2 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Calvert moves its record to 2-0 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to North Point (Waldorf, MD) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Friday, March 25. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 1-0. North Point won 23-1 in their recent league game against Stone (Waldorf, MD)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the McDonough Rams (Pomfret, MD) in a Southern Maryland game, on Friday, March 25. Patuxent will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Rams come into the game with a 0-1 record after their 9-0 league loss to Chopticon (Morganza, MD).
