The Cheney Blackhawks softball squad scored 19 runs and restricted the visiting Lewis & Clark Tigers to 0 in the Blackhawks league victory on Tuesday.

The Blackhawks (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against Central Valley (Spokane Valley, WA). The Bears go into the 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Central Valley notched a victory over Gonzaga Prep (Spokane, WA), 11-5, in a league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 0-3 record. They play next when they host North Central for a 2A/3A/4A Greater Spokane battle on Wednesday, March 23. Lewis & Clark will confront a Wolfpack squad coming off a 14-9 league loss to Ridgeline (Liberty Lake, WA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 0-1.
