Clear Creek Wildcats (League City, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Clear Lake Falcons (Houston, TX), 4-2 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 4-10 record. They take the field next when they host Clear Falls for a 6A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, March 25. Clear Creek will battle a Knights squad coming off a 4-0 league loss to Clear Lake (Houston, TX). The Knights record now stands at 8-10.

With the loss, Clear Lake falls to 8-4 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Brazoswood (Clute, TX) to battle the Buccaneers in a 6A Region III District 24 challenge on Friday, March 25. The Buccaneers enter the challenge with a record of 20-5. Brazoswood lost 2-1 in their recent league challenge against Clear Springs (League City, TX)
