The Tolleson Wolverines softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Copper Canyon Aztecs to 1 in the Wolverines league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, Tolleson improves its record to 9-0 on the year. The Wolverines host Queen Creek (Queen Creek, AZ) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Wednesday, March 23. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 7-3. Queen Creek won 4-0 in their recent league game against Desert Ridge (Mesa, AZ)

In their next game, the Aztecs clash with the Westview Knights (Avondale, AZ) in a 6A Southwest game, on Friday, March 25. Copper Canyon will attempt to improve on its 2-7 season record. The Knights come into the game with a 0-7 record after their 16-0 league loss to Sunnyslope (Phoenix, AZ).
