In Tuesday's non-league contest, the Orange County Fighting Hornets (Orange, VA) softball team overwhelmed the host Culpeper County Blue Devils (Culpeper, VA), by a margin of 19-0.
With the triumph, Orange County moves its record to 3-0 on the year. The Fighting Hornets host Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA) to play the Patriots in a Jefferson contest on Friday, March 25. The Patriots come into the contest with a record of 0-2. Albemarle lost 10-1 in their recent non-league battle against Stafford (Falmouth, VA)
The Blue Devils now sport a 0-3 record. They play next when they host Fauquier for a non-league battle on Monday, March 28.
