The Deweyville Pirates softball team scored 1 runs and limited the host High Island Cardinals to 0 in the Pirates league triumph on Tuesday.
With the triumph, Deweyville improves its record to 12-5 on the year. The Pirates host Evadale (Evadale, TX) to clash with the Rebels in a 2A Region III District 24 game on Tuesday, March 29. The Rebels come into the game with a record of 2-2.
