California High School Softball - Marina nudges Edison

Marina Vikings (Huntington Beach, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA), 6-5 in a league challenge.

The Vikings now own a 7-5 record. They take the field next when they host Huntington Beach for a Sunset Surf challenge on Thursday, March 24. Marina will face a Oilers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA). The Oilers record now stands at 7-3.

With the loss, Edison drops to 4-9 on the year. The Chargers travel to Los Alamitos (Los Alamitos, CA) to clash with the Griffins in a Sunset Surf game on Thursday, March 24. The Griffins come into the game with a record of 10-4. Los Alamitos lost 3-1 in their recent league game against Huntington Beach (Huntington Beach, CA)
