The Lions now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fairfield for a 3A Region III District 20 challenge on Friday, March 25. Teague will battle a Eagles squad coming off a 16-2 league win over Westwood (Palestine, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 9-5.

With the loss, Elkhart falls to 10-9 on the campaign. The Elks host Westwood (Palestine, TX) to battle the Panthers in a 3A Region III District 20 challenge on Friday, March 25. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 7-11. Westwood lost 16-2 in their recent league challenge against Fairfield (Fairfield, TX)
