The Pisgah Eagles (Pisgah, AL) softball nipped the host Fort Payne Wildcats (Fort Payne, AL), 10-9 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Eagles (4-1) will now prepare for their bout against Skyline (Scottsboro, AL). The Vikings go into the non-league bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Skyline was edged by Plainview (Rainsville, AL), 3-0, in a non-league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Arab for a 6A Area 15 bout on Thursday, March 24.
