Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the host Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL), 18-2 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 9-7 record. They take the field next when they host Fyffe for a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 24.
With the loss, Gaston falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Hokes Bluff (Hokes Bluff, AL) to face the Eagles in a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 26. The Eagles enter the challenge with a record of 2-6.
