Guyer Wildcats (Denton, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Boyd Broncos (McKinney, TX), 13-1 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Keller for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 29. Guyer will face a Indians squad coming off a 5-3 league win over Byron Nelson (Trophy Club, TX). The Indians record now stands at 12-9.

With the loss, Boyd falls to 3-19 on the campaign. The Broncos travel to McKinney (McKinney, TX) to face the Lions in a 6A Region I District 5 challenge on Friday, March 25. The Lions enter the challenge with a record of 4-8. McKinney lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against Allen (Allen, TX)
