The Reedy Lions (Frisco, TX) softball routed the host Independence Knights (Frisco, TX), 19-2 in Tuesday's league bout.

The Lions (11-3) will now prepare for their bout against Lone Star (Frisco, TX). The Rangers go into the 5A Region II District 9 bout with a 10-5 record. In their last bout, Lone Star toppled Liberty (Frisco, TX), 16-5, in a league bout.

The Knights now possess a 1-9 record. They play next when they travel to Heritage for a 5A Region II District 9 bout on Friday, March 25. Independence will confront a Coyotes squad coming off a 3-1 league win over Memorial (Frisco, TX). The Coyotes record now stands at 15-1.
