Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA), 29-0 in a league challenge.

The Wildcats now own a 6-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Shafter for a South Sequoia challenge on Thursday, March 24. Taft will battle a Generals squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Chavez (Delano, CA). The Generals record now stands at 9-7.

With the loss, Kennedy falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds host Wasco (Wasco, CA) to battle the Tigers in a South Sequoia challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Tigers enter the challenge with a record of 10-3. Wasco won 18-1 in their recent league challenge against McFarland (McFarland, CA)
