The South Lenoir Blue Devils (Deep Run, NC) softball routed the host Kinston Vikings (Kinston, NC), 20-0 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Blue Devils (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against C.B. Aycock (Pikeville, NC). The Golden Falcons go into the non-league bout with a 4-2 record. In their last bout, C.B. Aycock was routed by South Johnston (Four Oaks, NC), 17-1, in a league bout.
The Vikings now possess a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Southwest Onslow for a East Central 2A bout on Tuesday, March 29. Kinston will confront a Stallions squad coming off a 22-8 league loss to Wallace-Rose Hill (Teachey, NC). The Stallions record now stands at 1-6.
