Spectators at Tuesday's league match between the Lakes Lancers (Lakewood, WA) and the host Mount Tahoma T-Birds (Tacoma, WA), witnessed Lakes's softball squad prevail over Mount Tahoma by a count of 27-0.
The Lancers now sport a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Silas for a 3A Pierce County match on Thursday, March 24. Lakes will meet a Rams squad coming off a 12-1 non-league loss to Auburn Mountainview (Auburn, WA). The Rams record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Mount Tahoma moves to 0-2 on the season. The T-birds host Bonney Lake (Bonney Lake, WA) to meet the Panthers in a 3A Pierce County match on Monday, March 28. The Panthers go into the match with a record of 4-1.
