Timpson Bears (Timpson, TX) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Martinsville Pirates (Martinsville, TX), 15-0 in a league challenge.

The Bears now own a 9-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Beckville for a 2A Region III District 22 challenge on Friday, March 25. Timpson will battle a Bearcats squad coming off a 10-8 league win over Garrison (Garrison, TX). The Bearcats record now stands at 10-7.

With the loss, Martinsville falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Shelbyville (Shelbyville, TX) to battle the Dragons in a 2A Region III District 22 challenge on Tuesday, March 29. The Dragons enter the challenge with a record of 7-13. Shelbyville lost 8-7 in their recent league challenge against Joaquin (Joaquin, TX)
