The McCollum Cowboys softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Winn Mavericks to 2 in the Cowboys league triumph on Tuesday.

With the triumph, McCollum improves its record to 11-4 on the year. The Cowboys travel to Floresville (Floresville, TX) to clash with the Tigers in a 5A Region IV District 28 game on Friday, March 25. The Tigers come into the game with a record of 11-10. Floresville lost 15-7 in their recent league game against Southwest (San Antonio, TX)

In their next game, the Mavericks clash with the Medina Valley Panthers (Castroville, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 28 game, on Friday, March 25. Winn will attempt to improve on its 3-10 season record. The Panthers come into the game with a 20-4 record after their 20-10 league win over Southwest Legacy (Von Ormy, TX).
