With the triumph, Picayune moves its record to 3-5 on the year. The Maroon Tide host Pearl River Central (Carriere, MS) to play the Blue Devils in a 5A Region 8 contest on Tuesday, March 29. The Blue Devils come into the contest with a record of 10-7.

In their next game, the Hurricanes play the Petal Panthers (Petal, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, March 24. West Harrison will attempt to move on its 5-11 season record. The Panthers come into the contest with a 9-1 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Ocean Springs (Ocean Springs, MS).
