Saratoga Falcons (Saratoga, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Santa Clara Bruins (Santa Clara, CA), 13-0 in a league challenge.

The Falcons now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host Leland for a non-league challenge on Wednesday, March 23. Saratoga will battle a Chargers squad coming off a 5-1 non-league loss to Watsonville (Watsonville, CA). The Chargers record now stands at 2-3.

With the loss, Santa Clara falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Bruins travel to Gunn (Palo Alto, CA) to battle the Titans in a El Camino challenge on Thursday, March 24. The Titans enter the challenge with a record of 5-4. Gunn lost 8-0 in their recent non-league match against Notre Dame (Belmont, CA)
