Southern Lehigh Spartans (Center Valley, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA), 10-0 in a league test.

With the win, Southern Lehigh upgrades its record to 1-0 on the season. The Spartans host Northwestern Lehigh (New Tripoli, PA) to battle the Tigers in a Colonial test on Saturday, March 25. The Tigers come into the test with a record of 3-0. Northwestern Lehigh won 4-3 in their recent league test against Salisbury Township (Allentown, PA)

With the defeat, Catasauqua falls to 0-1 on the season. The Rough riders host Palmerton (Palmerton, PA) to battle the Blue Bombers in a Colonial test on Friday, March 24. The Blue Bombers come into the test with a record of 3-0. Palmerton won 8-7 in their recent league test against Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA)
