Spectators at Wednesday's league battle between the Ron Brown Monarchs (Washington, DC) and the visiting Coolidge Colts (Washington, DC), saw Ron Brown's baseball squad edge Coolidge by a count of 7-6.

Coming up next, the Monarchs play the DC International Dragons (Washington, DC) in a non-league battle, on Friday, March 31. Ron Brown will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.

The Colts now possess a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to School Without Walls for a DCIAA battle on Friday, March 24.
