The Summerville Green Wave (Summerville, SC) softball routed the host Berkeley Stags (Moncks Corner, SC), 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league bout.
The Green Wave (8-1) will now prepare for their bout against May River (Bluffton, SC). The Sharks go into the non-league bout with a 2-2 record. In their last bout, May River was routed by Bluffton (Bluffton, SC), 11-6, in a league bout.
The Stags now possess a 1-1 record. They play next when they travel to Stratford for a AAAAA Region 6 bout on Wednesday, March 29. Berkeley will face a Knights squad coming off a 12-5 league win over Cane Bay (Summerville, SC). The Knights record now stands at 5-2.
