The Ridge View Blazers softball team scored 17 runs and limited the visiting Columbia Capitals to 0 in the Blazers non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Ridge View improves its record to 5-2 on the year. The Blazers travel to Lugoff-Elgin (Lugoff, SC) to clash with the Demons in a AAAA Region 5 game on Thursday, March 23. The Demons come into the game with a record of 2-4. Lugoff-Elgin won 11-0 in their recent league game against Ridge View (Columbia, SC)
In their next game, the Capitals clash with the Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC) in a AA Region 4 game, on Tuesday, April 4. Columbia will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
