In Wednesday's non-league contest, the St. Marys Blue Devils (St. Marys, WV) softball team overwhelmed the visiting Magnolia Blue Eagles (New Martinsville, WV), by a margin of 16-2.

With the triumph, St. Marys moves its record to 1-1 on the year. The Blue Devils host Ritchie County (Ellenboro, WV) to play the Rebels in a Little Kanawha contest on Thursday, March 23. The Rebels come into the contest with a record of 2-1. Ritchie County won 10-0 in their recent non-league contest against Paden City (Paden City, WV)

In their next game, the Blue Eagles play the Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV) in a non-league contest, on Friday, March 24. Magnolia will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Yellowjackets come into the contest with a 1-3 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Tyler (Sistersville, WV).
