The Boerne-Champion Chargers crushed the host Veterans Memorial Patriots baseball team by a count of 12-0 in Friday's league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 18-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Canyon for a 5A Region IV District 26 bout on Tuesday, March 26. Boerne-Champion will face a Cougars team coming off a 4-3 league win over Tivy (Kerrville, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 12-5.
Next, the Patriots face the Pieper Warriors (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 bout, on Tuesday, March 26. Veterans Memorial will attempt to move on its 5-14 season record. The Warriors enter the bout with a 15-5 record after their 10-0 league win over Wagner (San Antonio, TX).
