In Friday's league game, the host Catonsville Comets baseball team scored a tight 6-5 victory over the Sparrows Point Pointers.
The Comets (1-0) will now prepare for their game against Kenwood (Baltimore, MD). The Bluebirds go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Kenwood was edged by Franklin (Reisterstown, MD), 8-1, in a non-league game.
The Pointers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Dulaney (Timonium, MD). The Lions go into the Baltimore County 1 game with a 1-2 record.
