Texas High School Baseball - Monterey can't hold off Coronado

In Friday's league game, the host Coronado Mustangs baseball team scored a tight 3-2 victory over the Monterey Plainsmen.

Coming up next, the Mustangs encounter the Lubbock Westerners (Lubbock, TX) in a 5A Region I District 4 contest, on Tuesday, March 26. Coronado will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Westerners come into the contest with a 5-16 record after their 4-0 league loss to Coronado (Lubbock, TX).
