Cottonwood Colts (Salt Lake City, UT) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Stansbury Stallions (Stansbury Park, UT), 9-8 in a league test.

With the win, Cottonwood upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Colts host Tooele (Tooele, UT) to battle the Buffaloes in a 4A Region 10 test on Tuesday, March 26. The Buffaloes come into the test with a record of 1-8. Tooele lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Timpview (Provo, UT)

With the defeat, Stansbury falls to 4-3 on the season. The Stallions travel to Hillcrest (Midvale, UT) to battle the Huskies in a 4A Region 10 battle on Monday, March 25. The Huskies enter the battle with a record of 1-9. Hillcrest lost 10-0 in their recent non-league battle against Pine View (St. George, UT)
