The Port Isabel Tarpons baseball team (Port Isabel, TX), was overwhelmed 10-0 in Friday's league outing with the visiting Grulla Gators (Rio Grande City, TX)

The Gators now hold a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Zapata for a 4A Region IV District 32 outing on Tuesday, March 26. Grulla will confront a Hawks team coming off a 10-0 league win over Raymondville (Raymondville, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 12-2.

Next, the Tarpons confront the Hidalgo Pirates (Hidalgo, TX) in a 4A Region IV District 32 outing, on Tuesday, March 26. Port Isabel will attempt to advance on its 5-10 season record. The Pirates go into the outing with a 8-7 record after their 5-4 league win over La Feria (La Feria, TX).
