In Friday's non-league game, the host Independence Patriots baseball team scored a nice 11-0 victory over the Princeton Tigers.
The Patriots (1-1) will now prepare for their game against James Monroe (Lindside, WV). The Mavericks go into the non-league game with a 2-2 record. In their last game, James Monroe ran past Summers County (Hinton, WV), 4-0, in a non-league game.
The Tigers (3-5) will now prepare for their game against Wyoming East (New Richmond, WV). The Warriors go into the non-league game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Wyoming East ran past PikeView (Princeton, WV), 8-6, in a league game.
