Spectators at Friday's league battle between the Roma Gladiators (Roma, TX) and the host Juarez-Lincoln Huskies (La Joya, TX), saw Roma's baseball squad edge Juarez-Lincoln by a margin of 4-3.

Coming up next, the Gladiators play the Mission Veterans Memorial Patriots (Mission, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 30 battle, on Tuesday, April 2. Roma will attempt to better on its 7-14 season record.

The Huskies now sport a 4-15 record. They take the field next when they host Rio Grande City for a 5A Region IV District 30 battle on Tuesday, March 26. Juarez-Lincoln will play a Rattlers squad coming off a 11-2 league win over Nixon (Laredo, TX). The Rattlers record now stands at 8-11.
