The William Monroe Dragons baseball team scored 19 runs and limited the host Madison County Mountaineers to 7 in the Dragons non-league victory on Friday.
The Dragons (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Culpeper County (Culpeper, VA). The Blue Devils go into the non-league match with a 2-2 record. In their last match, Culpeper County was overwhelmed by Courtland (Spotsylvania, VA), 2-0, in a league match.
The Mountaineers (2-3) will now prepare for their match against Page County (Shenandoah, VA). The Panthers go into the Bull Run match with a 3-1 record. In their last match, Page County ran past Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA), 4-3, in a non-league match.
