The North East Carolina Prep baseball team (Tarboro, NC), was overwhelmed 15-0 in Friday's league outing with the host Perquimans Pirates (Hertford, NC)

The Pirates now hold a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bertie for a Four Rivers 1A outing on Tuesday, March 26. Perquimans will face a Falcons team coming off a 9-5 league loss to Tarboro (Tarboro, NC). The Falcons record now stands at 0-9.
