The Ore City Rebels crushed the host Rivercrest Rebels baseball team by a tally of 9-1 in Friday's league bout.
The Rebels now hold a 10-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Linden-Kildare for a 1A Region III District 17 bout on Tuesday, March 26. Ore City will face a Tigers team coming off a 9-1 league loss to Maud (Maud, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 7-2.
Next, the Rebels face the Maud Cardinals (Maud, TX) in a 2A Region III District 17 bout, on Tuesday, March 26. Rivercrest will attempt to advance on its 5-7 season record. The Cardinals enter the bout with a 6-3 record after their 24-0 league win over Avery (Avery, TX).
