In Friday's league battle, the host De Anza Dons volleyball team scored a tight 3-2 triumph over the Pinole Valley Spartans.

The Dons (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Hercules (Hercules, CA). The Titans come into the Tri-County battle with a 10-3 record. In their last battle, Hercules was edged by Albany (Albany, CA), 3-1, in a league battle.

Next, the Spartans encounter the St. Patrick-St. Vincent Bruins (Vallejo, CA) in a Tri-County battle, on Monday, March 25. Pinole Valley will attempt to move on its 4-6 season record. The Bruins come into the battle with a 4-6 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hercules (Hercules, CA).
