The Catawba Ridge Copperheads soccer team scored 12 points and limited the visiting Northwestern Trojans to 0 in the Copperheads league victory on Friday.
Next, the Copperheads face the South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC) in a AAAA Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, March 26. Catawba Ridge will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Stallions enter the contest with a 4-5 record after their 3-2 non-league win over Spartanburg (Spartanburg, SC).
The Trojans now have a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they host Lancaster for a AAAA Region 3 contest on Tuesday, March 26. Northwestern will face a Bruins team coming off a 10-0 league loss to Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC). The Bruins record now stands at 1-8.
