The Higley Knights routed the visiting Mountain Pointe Pride softball squad by a count of 24-5 in Friday's league battle.

The Knights (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Campo Verde (Gilbert, AZ). The Coyotes go into the battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Campo Verde topped Horizon (Scottsdale, AZ), 13-11, in a non-league battle.
