In Friday's league test, the host Orange County Fighting Hornets lacrosse squad scored a tight 11-7 victory over the Charlottesville Black Knights.
The Fighting Hornets now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to James Monroe for a non-league test on Wednesday, April 10.
In their next game, the Black Knights face the Fluvanna County Flying Flucos (Palmyra, VA) in a Jefferson test, on Tuesday, March 26. Charlottesville will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
