Grayson County Blue Devils (Independence, VA) fans were pleased Friday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting Patrick Henry Rebels (Glade Spring, VA), 7-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Blue Devils confront the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) in a Mountain Empire challenge, on Monday, March 25. Grayson County will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record. The Pioneers enter the challenge with a 3-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Rural Retreat (Rural Retreat, VA).

The Rebels now have a 0-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Marion for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 2. Patrick Henry will confront a Scarlet Hurricanes team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA). The Scarlet Hurricanes record now stands at 1-1.
